DEAD FINKS DON’T TALK
A character study in its purest form, Dead Finks Don’t Talk looks to answer the question of “What would you really do if you found a suitcase full of cash?”
Ruby spends all of her time working at her failing used bookstore, telling tall tales to amuse herself, and crashing other people’s high school reunions. At one such reunion-crash she meets a dyed in the wool manic-pixie-dream-boy, with she stumbles upon a leather satchel filled with cash. She really likes the boy. She really wants the cash. As the onion peels and the tension mounts, Ruby has to come to grips with the trouble her tall-tale-telling-tongue can get her in when her tale-telling is at someone else’s expense.
